Top 5 Places To Visit in Kolli Hills

According to legend, a ghost called “Kolli Pavai” dwelt above the majestic Kolli Hills, which is how the hills got their name, which literally translates to “Mountain of Death.” These massive hills, known among the locals as the Kollimalai, rise to an astonishing altitude of more than 4,265 feet. Because of the Arappaleshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the mountains are known not only for their natural beauty but also for their religious significance. The peak is also reachable by road, though the road leading up to it is winding and full of twists and turns. It is the best place to visit because it has remained relatively unaffected by commercial tourism, much of its natural beauty has been preserved. This guide illustrates that there’s a lot more to Kolli Hills than meets the eye, no matter how mysterious the Kollimalai secrets are.
