1. Udupi Sri Krishna Matha
Udupi Sri Krishna Matha temple is located approximately 2.2km from the city. This temple is one of the famous places in Udupi. The temple was built in the 13th century, using the famous Dravidian style of architecture. The deity of this temple is Lord Krishna, who is worshipped through a silver-plated window with nine holes. The temple also provides prasadam(lunch) to its devotees. The temple conducts Paraya festival, which is held after every two years.

2. St Mary’s Island
St Mary’s Island is also called coconut island. This place is around 10.7km from the city. However, the only way of getting to this island is by boat. The island in itself consists of 4 small islands, which are coconut island, North island, Daryabahadurgarh island and South island.
