Want to do trekking? Then you must visit this beautiful fort. The fort is located in Hatgadh village which is 6km from Saputara. The fort was built by Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji in the 17th century AD. There is a statue of Lord Ganesha at the top of the fort. Earlier the fort was used as a watchtower by the forces of Shivaji. It is truly a paradise for trekkers and you can reach here only by trekking. It would take around an hour from the parking place to reach the fort by trekking. There are 200 stairs. However, the stairs could be slippery on rainy days. There is an idol of lord hanuman at the entrance gate. There are two rock-cut water chambers named Ganga and Yamuna on the fort which were sources of water for villages earlier.

This place receives the highest rainfall in the state. The name of the sanctuary is derived from the Purna river which flows there. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1990 and covers a forest area of 160 sq km. the place is famous for its cover of thick forest. 18. Pandava Gufa

The name of the caves is derived from the Mahabharata.  It is believed that Pandavas spent some of their time in exile in these caves. There is also shiv linga inside the cave where Pandavas were used to offer their prayers to lord shiva. The cave is 60 m long and 15 m wide.
