It is presently the residence of the Vadodara royal family constructed by Maharaja Sayaji Rao III. This palace consists of a zoo, golf course, and Maharaj Fatehgarh museum. In addition to this, it is four to five times bigger than Buckingham Palace. The Laxmi Vilas Palace is created in Indo-Saracenic style and has elements of Mughal, Hindu, and gothic.
